Presto classes are not available in 2024 at Lily Pad Music Academy. Please check back in the spring of 2025
Presto is an exciting 2-year, group musicianship and piano program for older children. Ideally, these children will have had little to no piano, and are between 7-12 years old. Parents do not attend class. Weekly classes are 60 minutes long, and have 4-6 students per group class.
Presto is a very comprehensive curriculum that creates strong, complete musicians! The curriculum builds a solid music foundation, focusing on skills such as ear training, vocal skills, rhythm, music and chord theory, proper piano technique, and music history! This is all accomplished through energetic songs and games geared for ages 7-12 years.
Kids at this age level, still love learning through play, and really thrive in Presto. They are easily engaged, because the activities are very interactive and upbeat. Presto students also learn and play alongside their friends, which they love! With class sizes of 4-6 kids, they really push each other to do their best. With positive peer interaction, they are able to have fun and be challenged in the learning, and retain knowledge so much more. Here is a little more about why Presto is so good!

Presto will not be available in 2024. Fall 2025 we will start Presto 1 classes: Presto Rockets and Presto Arrows!
